He has direct experience with general management of small and/or large organizations both for and non profit, turnarounds, leading change and start ups, and has led teams of seventeen people (direct reports) up to thousands (indirect reports) in one hundred and forty countries.  

Yiannis Lagos was born in Greece and holds an MBA, a BSc in Computer Science and diplomas in International Business and NGO management.

He is founder of Promacon, Enterprise Management Solutions, People First, a company focused in Talent and Business Intelligence Management and Dekon Romania. Has over fifteen years of experience in results delivering executive roles, driving positive change in corporations (Alpha Bank, JCI, ELMEC Romania, Global Eye Investments), in a broad range of functions (Sales, Human Capital, General Management). Currently he is Chief Operational Officer at Alexandron Group.

He has accumulated in depth understanding of corporate operations working in various projects across the value chain (from Vision & Values to Corporate Culture and from new business launches to Corporate Strategy and Market Penetration), in many markets globally. In addition Yiannis is also an Assessor of the EFQM European Excellence Award.

Having on hands and practical experience on the topics he presents, Yiannis is ideally placed to offer inspiration, advice and information to decision makers from all industries, wishing not only to understand, but also apply concepts presented.
