Andrew Marshall-Roberts is Head of Corporate Responsibility for Standard Life plc. Standard Life has approximately 7million customers worldwide and provides an extensive range of products and services aimed at meeting the financial requirements of customers throughout their lives. He has been working in the industry since 1981 and in the field of Corporate Responsibility since 2003. Andrew joined Standard Life in 1997 and is responsible for developing and implementing the group’s Corporate Responsibility strategy globally and is a member of both the group’s Board and Executive Corporate Responsibility Committees. Andrew has had a variety of roles within the sector, in the areas of Contact Centre Management, O&M, Communications, Training and Development. In 2002 he was seconded as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Services Skills Council (FSSC), successfully obtaining the development licence from the Sector Skills Development Agency (SSDA). He is a Board Director of several charities: * Waverley Care, which is Scotland’s largest and leading charity providing care and support to people living with HIV and Hepatatis C and to their partners, families and carers. Part of their work is also to raise awareness of these conditions and their prevention. * Standard Life Anniversary Appeal/the Pregnancy Support Centre at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. * Standard Life Charitable Trust.
